AnthroMed Education is looking to expand our community of Speech-Language Pathologists. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at a Dual Language school in Gurnee, Illinois. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping around 30 students ages 3-6 years old. In this role, you will have a private office space to provide student services. You will work collaboratively with educators, parents, a team of district SLP’s and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially. Responsibilities:

  • Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth for students in the school setting.
  • Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP) tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students within the diverse learning program.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students' speech and/or language needs.
  • Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, sharing progress updates and providing strategies for continued support at home.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • IDFPR License in the state of Illinois
  • Active Professional Educators License (PEL)
