East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is seeking a motivated individual who is interested in learning to become a Dental Assistant, for a thriving practice at 19 Broadway in Newport, RI. The individual will have the opportunity to obtain paid, on-the-job training to become a Dental Assistant during the first six months of hire. Become part of our dental team and provide excellent and comprehensive care with a focus on quality, service and patient satisfaction.

The successful candidate will work with several dentists and dental hygienists to learn chair-side skills, infection control and laboratory protocols, and basic principles of taking x-rays. Upon completion of the six-month in-house training, EBCAP will pay for the required classroom education to achieve additional x-ray certification skills.

The position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma/equivalent. This position is Monday through Friday, however, will work one evening. Bilingual (Spanish), is preferred, however, not required.
