Company Description

pureIntegration is a technology consulting firm with 20 years of experience servicing Fortune 100 clients headquartered in the DC area. We serve clients in the fastest-growing industry of communications, media, and entertainment.

Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (Ad Tech) - Part Time to join our Advertising Technology team. In this position, you will play an essential role in driving the successful execution of our technical and IT projects. You will be the driving force behind planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The impact of your role will extend far beyond the realms of project management, as you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our organization by delivering innovative solutions and optimizing our project management processes.

Our ideal candidate will have proven ability to lead expertise in driving fast-paced projects with evolving priorities and has excellent communication skills. Experience in Cable or Ad Tech industries is required. If you are looking for a role that allows you to lead cutting-edge projects and you enjoy collaborating with leaders and technical talent, this position could be a great fit for you!

This is a part-time remote position, open only to candidates based in and around Long Island, New York.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the daily operational execution of technical projects, with a focus on requirements clarity, story management, and backlog grooming.
  • Support lean, efficient sprint management through daily standups, prioritization, and milestone tracking—particularly with offshore teams in varied time zones.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into clear, detailed user stories and tasks in Trello.
  • Maintain up-to-date sprint boards, proactively flagging blockers or dependencies to the Program Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and QA leads to ensure work is technically feasible, scoped appropriately, and aligned with release goals.
  • Monitor sprint performance and velocity, and support continuous improvement through retrospectives and agile best practices.
  • Work closely with the client’s development team to align on timelines, milestones, and technical dependencies, ensuring joint execution stays on track.
  • Provide timely reporting on sprint progress, completion rates, and risks to internal leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of technical project management experience in software development environments.
  • Strong experience managing sprints and backlogs using Trello (or similar lightweight tools).
  • Comfortable working with offshore engineering teams; experience managing across time zones is a plus.
  • Ability to write, manage, and prioritize detailed user stories and technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies and how to apply them in real-world team settings.
  • Excellent organizational and task management skills with a strong bias for execution and follow-through.
  • Technical fluency—you don’t need to code, but you should be able to understand developer conversations and system dependencies.
