Creative Services is responsible for providing design and print production services for Wynn Resorts. Including the creation of printed and digital collateral as well as creating, installing and maintaining various signage and décor elements throughout the Wynn and Encore Las Vegas properties. Creative Services is comprised of a graphic design center and full-service sign shop to meet any needs that arise.
Job Responsibilities Work with other departments, employees and guests designing and producing print-ready files, writing print and production specifications and working with outside vendors to meet their creative needs and provide a memorable guest experience. 1. Organize and prioritize incoming work requests. 2. Work with departments to update existing designs, menus, posters, etc. as needed. 3. Work with departments to create new designs as needed. 4. Assist peers with proofing and share ideas to make the team a success. 5. Assist in Director with communication and follow up. 6. Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Skills
Must have 3+ years’ experience in commercial or hotel graphics department or a degree in a related Arts field.
Must be able to prioritize high volume work assignments and handle multiple projects at once.
Must be able to understand and work from blueprints, drawings and sketches as well as be proficient in writing print specs.
Must be Mac and PC literate and experienced in the use of pertinent programs, including but not limited to Adobe software and Microsoft Office software.
Must be organized, work well under pressure with tight deadlines, and have knowledge of the printing processes and terminology.
Must have an excellent fluency in English, and be able to proofread and provide correction to grammar, spelling and language.
Requires excellent communication and people skills.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma.
3+ years’ experience in commercial or hotel graphics department with an emphasis on graphic design and printing processes or a degree in a related Arts field.
Experience in a commercial or hotel sign shop or print shop is a plus.
