Receive delivery tickets, load trucks, drive to job sites, and unload materials.
Ensure load is properly secured to prevent breakage or damage.
Obtain signatures or warehouse scans upon delivery.
Loading and unloading inbound and outbound orders
Operate powered industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain equipment and keep maintenance records up to date.
Complete delivery logs accurately.
Follow route and time schedule.
Responsible for loading the truck properly, safely, and legally.
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
Report defects, accidents, and violations immediately.
Track and report working hours.
Assist with month-end physical inventories, and resolve any discrepancies
Other duties as assigned as needed

Ability to operate heavy yard equipment in a safe and effective manner
Self-motivated and able to work effectively without close supervision
Knowledge of building products, proper storage, safe handling and transportation methods preferred
Safety conscious
Able to lift up to 80 pounds
QUALIFICATIONS:
Class A CDL
High school diploma, GED or Technical Trade
One to two years of material handling and/or delivery experience in the building products industry preferred
