Senior Software Engineer

About the Company: 

Our client is one of the largest game design organizations and is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to sit in their Austin, Texas, Las Vegas, Nevada or Franklin, Tennessee location. This is a hybrid role and must go onsite at least 3 times a week. Will provide relocation bonus for candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing code in C# in a Windows environment to create robust platforms and innovative gaming products
  • Responsible for code development, design, debugging, testing and integrating
  • Work on the platform side to develop new innovative gaming platforms with more efficient processing and design to be replaced from older software/hardware
  • Work with senior staff to determine estimations, scheduling of product releases, design code and development tasks
  • Mentor junior software engineers, participate in peer code reviews

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years experience in a software/hardware development focused role (must be physical product, not web-based)
  • Must have experience in LAN based development
  • Strong working knowledge in WCF, WPF or LINQ
  • Comfortability in multithreading and/or memory management
  • Experience in the gaming industry is a plus

Salary Range:

$100,000-$137,000
