Job Title: Sr .NET Developer

Location: Mineapolis, MN - hybrid
Job Type: Contract

 

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications using the .NET framework. You will work with a team of developers, analysts, and project managers to build and maintain scalable and robust solutions that meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and scalable web and desktop applications using the .NET framework (.NET Core/ASP.NET MVC/Web API/C#).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Maintain and improve the performance of existing applications.
  • Write clean, scalable, and reusable code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
  • Integrate data storage solutions such as SQL Server or other databases.
  • Create and maintain documentation of application architecture, code, and functionality.
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning and stand-ups.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a .NET Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Web API.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular or React is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework.
  • Experience working with version control tools like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
