About this opportunity:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll seize the chance to utilize your design skills on stimulating and demanding HVAC projects. Your role:

Performing complex mechanical building design on a variety of projects to include, but not limited to, buildings and facilities, including hospitals, laboratories, high rise residential and high-rise office, and other commercial and institutional projects.
Incorporating design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software
Assist teams in performing design load calculations, equipment selections and mechanical system design
Providing credit documentation for LEED, and other building rating system design and compliance
Assisting in the preparation of basis-of-design descriptions, responses to client comments and other project-related documentation.
Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers.
Reviewing submittals and providing responses to Requests for Information
Performing other duties as assigned

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
5 to 10 years of experience in HVAC system design for commercial, institutional, and healthcare facilities

Qualifications:

Proficient with the use of Trace 700, AutoCAD and Revit software.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Excellent technical skills, strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
Comprehensive knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and in a highly collaborative team environment
PE registration is highly preferred in Florida, or EIT with the ability to obtain a P.E. in 1-2 years.
LEED AP BD+C accreditation is preferred
