Must have availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts a week all fall/winter. Morning availability is a MUST during the weekdays and work PAST summer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet customers to make them feel comfortable and welcome
Serve customers’ and handle cash and credit transactions
Follow Sweet Cow’s operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift
Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
Serve menu items to customers in a courteous and timely manner
Quickly and accurately prepare menu items including ice cream, shakes, cakes, and ice cream sammies
Check quality and temperatures throughout the day to ensure Sweet Cow quality and safety standards are met or exceeded
Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop and ensures proper set up and/or breakdown of the entire shop including queue, restrooms, scooper and prep areas
Effectively handle customer concerns and complaints
Work as a team to prepare the shop for each shift
Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of Sweet Cow
Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
Contributes to a positive team environment
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
Excellent customer service skills required
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
Ability to work mornings and nights, weekends and holidays
Must be at least 16 years of age
