ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to calls and e-mails from advisors and clients regarding life insurance, annuities, LTC, and disability insurance.
  • Assist, review, submit and follow up on:
      • Title Changes: Ownership, POA, Beneficiary changes & Third party authorization
      • Agent of record changes, licensing, product, carrier requirements
      • Claims on life, annuity, LTC & LTC
      • Perform policy reviews
      • Assist with ACATs, withdrawals & surrenders
      • Run and request in force illustrations
      • EFT/modal changes
      • Reinstatements
      • Conversions
      • Assist in completing forms
  • Respond to customer requests in timely manner, provide information and resolve problems
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
                                           

  • College degree or equivalent workforce experience
  • Previous one year life and/or annuity insurance experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of life and annuity insurance products and industry is preferred

  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize work to balance multiple projects, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to determine the appropriate action
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated reliability in attendance and work performance


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability and Willingness to learn systems and industry

  • Existing insurance license or willingness to obtain insurance license within 6 months of employment
