The Engineer Painter must have a minimum of 5 years Journeyman experience and be proficient in one or more of the following areas: proper surface preparation and application of all types of paints utilizing brushes, rollers, and spray methods, for interior and exterior applications; drywall taping, sanding and finishing for textured and smooth finishes; all types of wall covering layout, installation and repairs; special finish applications including faux, graining, wood finishing and staining.

Job Responsibilities:

Possess & exhibit accurate record keeping skills.
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
Basic computer skills and be detail oriented.
Possess customer relationship skills.
Must be able to read, understand and work from blueprints, drawings, schematics and sketches.
Proficient in the safe use of all trade related hand and power tools, safety and personal protective equipment.

Qualifications

A valid Driver's License is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to respond immediately to all emergency situations and calls.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a 4 year accredited apprenticeship program.
Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times
