Required Skills-

Mid-Sr. level MDM Systems Analyst. Role is contract to hire, our client will convert and provide sponsorship to resources after 6 months. unfortunately cannot be strictly a contract position.

Basic Qualifications:

MDM

Riversand Preferred but SAP or IBM or others acceptable.

Experience in an SAP environment preferred.

The MDM Systems Analyst is responsible for aligning MDM application design with business requirements to enable a global master data management platform that conforms to industry and data governance best practices and standards. This person will be able to effectively utilize his/her knowledge of business processes and the Riversand MDM Center application to help define and implement effective MDM solutions. The ideal candidate will be familiar with key master data domains such as vendor, customer, and product/material. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills along with solid technical understanding of the current MDM solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with business and technical teams to properly define, document and align business requirements with technical solutions
• Perform root cause analysis to identify system/data defects and determine proper course of action
• Provide guidance on project and new development work, ensuring adherence to master data standards and strategy
• Assist business teams with process understanding and training as required
• Work with Master Data Governance (MDG) organization to identify, prioritize and schedule changes needed within the MDM application
• Ensure changes and enhancements within the application are properly tested before deploying to production

Qualifications

Skills:

• Strong functional knowledge of MDM Riversand application and master data transmission techniques
• Comprehensive understanding of Material, Customer and Vendor Domains as well as Business Rules and workflows within an MDM application.
• Ability to reconcile, enhance and recommend business process alignment with Data Management Organization (DMO) and Master Data Governance (MDG) requirements
• Ability to gather business requirements, solution design with technical teams, and write functional specification documents
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to lead requirements gathering, future state design and fit-gap analysis workshops with business stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required
• Able to work independently and to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects at one time

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required in Information Systems or Business
• A minimum of 5 years’ work experience as a functional/system analyst with Enterprise MDM solutions
• Experience with the Riversand MDM Center application is preferred
• Solid understanding of master data domains (vendor, customer, product/material)
• Experience with data quality reporting and cleanup
• Knowledge of business processes (planning, procurement, logistics, distribution, sales order processing, etc…) is desired
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel/PowerPoint and strong attention to detail required
