Midnight Oil (moagency.com), strategically located in "the heart of Hollywood" in Burbank, CA, is an extraordinary creative, and specialty print production partner to the majority of theatrical and streaming studios, with relationships often measured in terms of decades, not years. We uniquely and conveniently combine our Studio and Print Production capabilities all under one roof in our 120,000 square feet facility, with an Amtrak stop and the Burbank Airport directly across the street. Position Summary: The Creative Production Artist will provide project support to internal pre-media team and prepare files for internal and external manufacturing at the expected level of quality.
Work Location: On-site at our Burbank, CA facility.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Producing an array of entertainment theatrical properties through Key Art, Outdoor, In Theatre
- Creating templates, adapting creative and building production mechanical files utilizing relevant software
- Reviewing design files and proactively solve production/creative issues
- Resizing and adapting high resolution art
- Communicating with account, production and creative teams
- Managing multiple deadlines and still provide excellent work
- Laying out design & production of any print materials including, OOH, packaging, one-sheets, ads, presentations, brochures, catalogs etc.
- Applying understanding of structure as it relates to special packaging, theatrical standees, In theatre elements and retail POP
- Collaborating and supporting designers, art directors and creative directors
- Creating presentations
- Troubleshooting file issues
- Managing and maintaining client and company assets
- Preflight, collect, upload and download tasks
- Continual training to increase skill level
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Creative Agency and an excellent understanding of entertainment production workflow
- Ability to do light retouching and color correction
- Ability to adapt, plan and organize in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Goal oriented and a self-starter
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to continued learning

The national pay range for this role is $40 - $50/hourly. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
