Uses some subject-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps that vary in nature and sequence. Selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in varying administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of financial or other records
Prepares reports for Project Manager and the customer
Verifies statistical reports for accuracy and completeness
May also direct lower level clerks, positions which may include supervisory responsibilities using a thorough knowledge of an office’s work and routine
Chooses among widely varying methods and procedures to process complex transactions
Responsible for daily data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records
Provide subcontractor and vendor support to include related record keeping and reporting
Answers phone calls, handles and communicates complaints
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements
Must have high school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years in an office environment
Demonstrate strong skills in objective problem-solving and decision-making
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of software
Strong organizational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
Strong interpersonal skills
Working Conditions
Work environment is a typical office setting.
Physical demands include intermittent sitting, standing, and walking, and occasional bending reaching and lifting.
Limited exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc. but generally not to the point of being disagreeable.
