Job purpose
The purpose of this document is to outline the job responsibilities of the Manufacturing Controller for medmix Healthcare US Inc in Atlanta. Under the general direction of the Head of Controlling medmix US, this position will be responsible for the manufacturing controlling of the operations.
Main accountabilities and tasks
Support a standard costing approach including structured reviews of variances with the leadership team
Harmonize and align labor and machine hourly rate calculations
Manage and report monthly the Capital expenditure spend
Maintain relevant and harmonized cost center and work center data structures and settlement rules
Conduct standard and ad hoc cost analysis in Actual, rolling forecast and planning periods
Support the budget process by preparing and presenting the COGS and other COGS expenses
Compile and report monthly on obsolesce inventory
Accountable for accurately and timely closing procedures
Support Balance Sheet reconciliations and audits
Support the leadership team in cost reductions and process improvements
Accountable to drive actions relevant to NWC and respective KPI’s
Accountable for follow up with various stakeholders and timely resolution of issues
Supports the identification and implementation of improvements in the areas of manufacturing accounting
Ensures application of accounting policies and procedures; maintains appropriate internal control standards in accordance with medmix Accounting Manual
Leads process standardization and harmonization initiatives in controlling
Supports internal and external audit activities by facilitating audit reviews, providing documentation, and guidance regarding manufacturing accounting
Qualifications
Desired experience and qualifications
Work experience: Five+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Education: Bachelor’s degree in in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Other:
Strong SAP FICO experience
Good commercial awareness and understanding of business
Good problem solving and organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize responsibilities and processes
Advanced Excel skills a must. Experience working with large complex data
Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task, perform work accurately and thoroughly and to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be self-directed and motivated to optimally utilize the available time to organize and complete expected work within given deadlines and reasonable work schedules.
Communication skills, both oral and written, as required to communicate effectively with others at all levels in the organization and to provide clear and concise reports and policies as needed. Ability to effectively present information publicly.
Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
