Our client is a leading developer and manufacturer of private label skin care products. The Controller will be a key player in building out controls and structure within the accounting and finance function of the firm.
Responsibilities:
Build out and maintain a month end close process
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
Oversee the AR, AP, and Invoice Clerks to create accurate financials
Preparation of journal entries
Monitor all inventory control functions
Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs from the bottom up and investigating discrepancies
Develop and automate reporting functionalities and make recommendations for process improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
7-12 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
Experience with cost accounting/manufacturing a must
