Vulcan, recognized by chefs and operators around the world as the best-in-class supplier for premier, energy-efficient foodservice equipment, is seeking an organized and energetic Design Engineer to join our growing team.

The Design Engineer is responsible for continuous improvement of existing product lines and day-to-day engineering activity. You will be part of team responsible for improving the quality, reliability, and cost of current products from concept design through implementation to production. You will work cross functionally to support the design and manufacturing of cooking products manufactured in our Baltimore facility.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is:
- Must be able to stand or walk for duration of 2 hours.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach and twist to complete all job tasks.
- Operate common office equipment, i.e. PC, phone, copier, printer, fax
- Must be able to wear all required PPE (i.e., safety glasses, gloves, steel/composite toe safety shoes) when required
Working Conditions
- Combination - industrial plant floor, and office.
Hours of Work
- Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, some flexibility in set hours allowable.
