The Maintenance Technician keeps our operations running smoothly. In this role, you will have diverse job duties and the opportunity to learn other skills in the maintenance field.
Duties involved in this position include, but are not limited to:
Repair MHE, including monitoring and trending, troubleshooting and repairs and preventative maintenance
Install and repair electrical and lighting issues, dock doors, and dock plates
Conduct preventive maintenance (PM’s) within manufacturer’s guidelines/specifications and established timelines to include oil changes, filter changes, calibration of equipment, belts changes, inspections, adjustments, lubrication, etc.
Log time and materials into computerized maintenance management system
Interpret and understand plans and specifications, blueprints, schematics, operating and maintenance manuals
Ideal candidate will have
At least one year of related experience or trade schooling
Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as they pertain to the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair
Must have clean driving record due to travel required between worksites
