We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer (PE) with expertise in multi-family buildings to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead and contribute to the structural design of diverse projects, with a strong focus on apartment buildings and multi-level structures. Your proficiency in post-tensioning and extensive experience will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality structural designs.

Responsibilities:

Lead the structural design of multi-family buildings and other complex structures.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and efficient designs.
Utilize your expertise in post-tensioning to optimize structural performance.
Apply knowledge of seismic and wind design principles to ensure safety and resilience.
Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
Active Professional Engineering License (PE).
5-20 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on multi-family buildings.
Proficiency in relevant design codes, standards, and technical software.
Experience in high seismic and wind regions.
Expertise in structural steel, wood-framed construction, elevated concrete, and post-tensioned concrete.
Familiarity with expansive soils and their impact on foundation design.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
