What You’ll do
CompuNet, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our PMO team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Associate Project Manager is responsible for assisting their assigned Service Delivery Manager in the planning, project delivery, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned projects. The ideal candidate will be required to assist their assigned Service Delivery Manager in coordinating all contractual requirements, project planning, and project specifications that include, but not limited to:
- Ensure adequate communication, resource management, and timelines are maintained with all appropriate parties.
- Ensure that project activities are timely and completed in accordance with established quality standards, procedures and budget requirements.
- Administer the workings of the project team in all phases of projects: analyze projects, identify all risk and repair risk mitigation strategies.
- Schedule both internal and external project status meetings and generate meeting minutes as required
- Work with dispatch to ensure projects are setup correctly and resources are assigned
- Ensure projects are completed on time, project information is up to date, and issues are escalated
- Send project acceptance documents to client for signature, follow up to ensure task is completed and signed documentation is stored appropriately
- Assist with coordinating activities, resources, equipment and information
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Who you are
You are a strong team player that is invested in helping your team succeed and contributing to a great company culture. You are detail driven and highly organized. You have the following knowledge, skills, abilities and/or education:
- 1-3 years experience in project management related work
- College degree preferred
- Information technology and consulting experience is preferred
- Experience with business automation systems preferred
- Experience with Smartsheet
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload according to applicable deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good interpersonal communication skills that allow you to create and maintain strong relationships
