Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is looking for a Quality Auditor to ensure all aspects of the quality assurance processes are properly executed and that food safety and customer quality requirements are met.

Shifts available are:

1. 3:45am-2:25pm (4 days on, 3 days off)
2. 5:45am-6pm (8 hour shift but need to be available during these times)
3. 2pm-1:30am (8 hour shift but need to be available during these times)

Job Duties

• Operate scales, thermometers, calipers, and other equipment necessary to evaluate the quality of products.
• Performs equipment verifications/calibrations (pH, moisture, thermometer, scale)
• Evaluate production line from start to finish and ensure quality is occurring throughout the production process.
• Performs pre-op and mid-shift inspections.
• Assists shipping withhold tags.
• Sets up product show materials.
• Performs end items exams (i.e. organoleptic, shelf life).
• Reviews and evaluates production records for completion and correctness.
• Performs environmental testing (ATP swabs, sponges, water collection).
• Performs receipt inspection sampling.

Job Requirements

• Computer skills a must!
• Effective communicator with organizational skills.
• Ability to read and write English and complete relevant company documents.
• Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.
