About the Job
As a Manufacturing Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding our production team to ensure that targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of production operators and technicians to achieve daily production goals and meet quality standards.
- Monitor production activities closely, ensuring adherence to schedules and processes.
- Provide hands-on support to the team, assisting with setup, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance, to resolve production challenges.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and accountability among the production team.
- Lead regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance updates.
- Address any production issues promptly to minimize disruptions and downtime.
About you
Qualifications & Professional attributes
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production, with 2 years in a leadership or lead role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and motivate a diverse team.
- Hands-on problem-solving abilities with a track record of driving process improvements.
