Arcadis is seeking a project architect with project delivery experience in corporate workplace interiors to join our Workplace Practice Group in the San Francico Bay area. The successful candidate will support projects in San Francisco and San Jose, among others. This position is focused on overseeing the projects' technical design and serving as a resource to the project team from schematic design through construction administration.

Role Accountabilities:
This job requires someone who's not only a whiz at problem-solving but also adept at building relationships with both clients and colleagues. Juggling multiple projects simultaneously is par for the role, so prioritizing tasks effectively is key. The ideal candidate will need to be a master multitasker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Understanding of all phases of design documentation and construction.
- Understanding of compliance with applicable building codes and regulations, jurisdiction review, and accessibility standards – specifically in the state of California and Bay Area local jurisdictions.
- Planning, coordinating and managing the project development process of corporate workplace interiors projects.
- Managing and mentoring staff for design quality, technical detailing, and presentations.
- Negotiating critical and controversial issues with appropriate parties.
- Coordinating and collaborating with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations.
- Serving as a key contributor during client meetings and presentations.
- Traveling as needed for client meetings, conferences, and internal strategic meetings.
- Supporting proposal development process, as needed.
- Adopting company-wide processes for customer databases, relationship management, and customer experience.
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 year.
