Job Description :
DevOps engineer that can build and manage a data aggregation and analytics platform for a large Communications Service Provider company.
Project Requirements:
Develop and build an analytics platform for processing and reporting KPIs from large volumes of network data.
Develop and build a data collection engine based on either Bash Scripts or Python to gather utilization data from different network platforms and generate utilization trends.
Develop and build a Front End web application which could be based on a combination of Java, JSP, PHP, or HTML5.
Build a MySQL or Oracle DB along with Hadoop and Java based Tomcat/JBoss or Python/PHP based Middle-ware Server infrastructure to host a data analytics Web Application.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
Must have 8 years of experience in DevOps, Linux, Java or Python/PHP, Tomcat/JBoss, and Oracle or MySQL.
Strong hands on experience with Linux and Linux scripting tools bash, pearl, and/or python
Advanced expertise in Java, Python, PHP, Oracle, MySQL, AJAX, DHTML/CSS, XML, Restful and SOAP web service technologies.
Should have experience with installing and building Linux servers with Tomcat or JBoss application servers.
Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of MySQL or Oracle Database and Hadoop.
Familiarity with UX programming in Java/JSP or PHP and Python along with HTML5.
Must be a self-learner with an ability to work and complete the required deliverables independently
Bachelor's degree preferred.
