Job Description
The City of Boscobel (pop. 3,223) is accepting applications for a City Engineer/Director of Public Works to oversee the City’s Public Works, Water, Sewer, and Electric Departments. Responsibilities include supervising employees, managing day-to-day operations, coordinating capital projects, and maintaining budgets. Duties include oversight of streets, storm water systems, water and sewer utilities, and the electric utility, as well as coordination with consultants. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities to oversee the maintenance of City facilities, including buildings, parks, and infrastructure. At least five years of management experience in public works or utility operations and a bachelor’s degree in engineering is highly desirable. Salary is dependent on qualifications.
