We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians in the Beaufort Area

Responsibility & Authority
Perform all duties in accordance with company safety rules, operating regulations and practices and report unsafe conditions or acts
Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes, including lighting, climate control, security, and communications
Work with blueprints when installing electrical systems in manufacturing facilities, waste water treatment plants and other structures
Able to indicate on blueprints the location of circuits, outlets, load centers, panel boards, and other equipment
Install new electrical equipment
Maintain and repair electrical systems as quickly as possible in order to minimize inconvenience
Able to replace items such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components, or wires
Responsible for performing the installation of various electrical systems per NEC state/local regulations and complete construction documents while maintaining the highest levels of OSHA compliance
May orient and train new workers
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledgeable in raceway installations in accordance with NEC and manufacturer requirements to include PVC, RSC, EMT, IMC, and Cable tray.
Knowledgeable in cable/conductor installations in accordance with NEC and manufacturers requirements to include, but not limited to THHN, XHHN/XHHW, MI, VFS-cable and control wiring.
Knowledgeable in grounding installations in accordance with NEC requirements.
Perform maintenance duties involving mechanical operations as well as electrical equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance such as changing contacts and checking motors.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems on any converting plant equipment including any electromechanical production equipment.
Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods.
Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components-- photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders
PLC programs, ability to troubleshoot ladder logic (read use for troubleshooting), components (CPU back plains, I/O boards, counters, modules, and devices) and communications modules (Ethernet)
Basic understanding of program controllers
Knowledgeable of National Electric Code and comply with State and local building codes when they install electrical systems
Able to understand and perform calculation on de-ratings and loads
Capable of calculating size and installation methods for specialty transformers
Knowledgeable of high voltage terminations/splices standards in accordance with NEC and cable manufactures requirements
