Job Description :
- 5+ years of heavy experience developing software in a Client/Server environment, or demonstrated successful development experience on large scale software projects
- Strong SQL Database development skills using Microsoft SQL Server/ T-SQL
- Ability to interpret documented business requirements and provide appropriate solutions
- Ability to perform advanced level
- SQL development tasks according to published standards and design guidelines
- Understanding of software development life cycle
- Demonstrated history of professional growth in SQL Server development and ability to continually push oneself to achieve higher levels of competence
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in radio or a related communications industry is a plus
- Experience with Scrum, XP, or another Agile methodology is a plus
- A positive attitude and professional disposition
Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to
the following:
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
- Contribute technical content to as-built documents
- Create, document, and implement unit-test plans / scripts / and test-harnesses
- Perform Data Modeling
- Create and maintain SQL stored procedures, views, triggers, scheduled tasks, and DDL scripts
- Investigate, analyze and document reported defects
- Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
- Effectively serve as a member of Agile oriented software development team
- Participate in code and design reviews
