Job Summary
The Director, CPG, Global Third Parties serves as the compliance and privacy advisor to the teams across all of ZOLL's division that manage third parties: suppliers, distributors, and certain categories of customers. This position reports directly to ZOLL's Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer serves as a trusted advisor to the relevant divisional teams, and a member of the global Compliance, Privacy and Governance department's leadership team. The scope includes developing, implementing, and overseeing programs, policies, and procedures to help ensure that ZOLL's compliance program and privacy policies are effective and efficient. The position will also help instill and maintain a culture of compliance and adherence to laws and regulations, as well as ZOLL policies.
Essential Functions
Oversight: Support the implementation of the global Compliance & Privacy Program under the direction of the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer. The responsibilities include guiding teams through the compliant management of Third Party entities to further support ZOLL’s ethical culture. Provides periodic reports (at least quarterly) on the status of the actions and activities.
Evolving Regulations: Maintain a current working knowledge of actual, proposed, or pending legislation, regulations, and policies that affect the businesses.
Benchmarking: Develop and track metrics, benchmarks and success criteria to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the various programs and processes.
Written Standards: Provide support on the drafting, implementation and communication of compliance and privacy related policies and procedures.
Program Management: Implement actions as specified in the operations plans and departmental objectives.
Education: Develop training materials and delivers Compliance and Privacy related training via live and electronic means.
Risk Management: Support compliance risk assessments in the divisional businesses and developing and supporting implementation of mitigation plans.
Monitoring and Auditing: Partner with the CPG Operations team in conducting monitoring and auditing as required, supporting audits of internal processes and Third Parties.
Advice and Guidance: Provide day-to-day advice and guidance to relevant business teams on Compliance matters.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree required
Advanced Degree preferred
Minimum of seven years of experience in corporate compliance, preferably in life science (Device, Pharma, Biotech, or DME) required
Minimum of five years of experience in a global role covering Third party related risks, ideally with experience in other related areas, such as Healthcare Fraud and Abuse laws, durable medical equipment sales models, and global procurement processes required
Minimum three years of experience leading through influence, which could include directly or indirectly managing teams in a matrixed organization to deliver results in a fast-paced environment; Preferably in a regulated industry. required

Travel Requirements
Approximately 1/3 domestic and international travel required.
