Job Summary
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization. This is a full-time (7:30am - 4:30pm), in-office, hands-on role.
Essential Functions
- As first point of contact, greet and assist visitors in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, direct phone calls to employees.
- Support Security Dept. by ensuring employees and visitors entering the building follow Security protocols.
- Receive mail, documents, packages, courier deliveries and distribute within mailroom.
- Perform administrative and clerical support tasks.
- Special projects.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1-2+ years of relevant experience required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent telephone skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize work
PC literate-databases, order processing and spreadsheets
Proven team player
