Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a College Intern with 0 to 3 years of experience to support our Survey engineering team in our Las Cruces, NM or El Paso, TX office. The candidate for this position will work closely with Professional Engineers (PE) and Professional Land Surveyors (PLS), lending support in the design of a wide variety of civil projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist field survey crews remotely and locally on-site (some travel required).
• Work in the field with survey crews on topographic, boundary and construction staking tasks.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment and safety standards.
• Prepare survey notes and work closely with CAD staff utilizing knowledge from the field.

Required Experience

• Ability to work outside, some travel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Word and Excel are encouraged.
• Pursuing a Geomatics degree
• Preferred working knowledge of MicroStation or AutoCAD drafting programs
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Word and Excel 

Hourly Rate: $15.00 - $23.00
