Job Description

Come join the People Relations team as the Americas and EMEA region Director, Employee Relations Investigations & Compliance. In this role, you will lead a dedicated team of ER professionals focused on enabling leaders and teams to foster a high-trust, high-performance culture across the company. This role works in partnership with our business clients, Legal, Business & People Partners, Country Enablement and COE teams to deliver strategic ER capability and is the anchor point for Employee Relations across the Americas and EMEA regions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the ER agenda with multiple partners and stakeholders in numerous sites & locations across the Americas and EMEA regions
  • Develop and deliver an effective global coverage model to support cyclical volume (cases, investigations, negotiations)
  • Develop a consistent framework for case quality, effectiveness, closure and report out to CPIO
  • Develop a training curriculum for new, rotating team members that drives for quality cases review and outcomes, consistency and neutrality
  • Develop and execute on a knowledge management strategy including, inventory policies, develop process for updating, refresh and sunset
  • Develop a system reporting strategy to supports compliance and reporting needs for CPIO, Board, Audit Committee and other stakeholders
  • Create an orchestration and communication model for updates, knowledge sharing across People Relations and People Solutions
  • Support enterprise reporting requirements (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Sustainability)
  • Participate in broader People Solutions initiatives 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience, including leading Employee Relations or a related function, technology and manufacturing experience preferred
  • Proven track record of creating and establishing innovative, consistent processes that match the stage of growth of the organization and can also scale as the organization evolves
  • Experience building and leveraging data sets to look for and anticipate trends within employee relations with the intent to influence programs and practices that create the best employee experience
  • Effective relationship builder and communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to set objectives and influence outcomes at all levels within the organization, and make decisions while keeping all partners and leaders informed
  • Experience partnering with legal teams and in depth understanding of all US employment laws, regulations, policies, principles, concepts and practices
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision making to foster a culture of trust, respect and inclusion
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and manage multiple initiatives
  • Systems thinking with the ability to define connections and interdependencies
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, resourceful, accountable and passionate about driving results
