Summary: Coordinate all aspects of Werner Electric supplied parts and orders to and from Customer’s Job Site. Work closely with Customer Contact on Job Site to ensure that all related requests, deliveries and requirements are met. Must be able to travel throughout the state of WI and stay on location. When not on assignment, this individual will work at physical Werner location as a warehouse/ delivery team member.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to travel within the state of WI to be on assignment on the job site (primarily in Madison, WI area)
- Experience in distribution center and/or on construction job sites is highly preferred
- Ability to operate a lift truck is preferred
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Working experience with general hand tools preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Full On-site material management, including, but not limited to: Product ordering, Product movement (all electrical products – Lighting, wire, misc materials, conduit, etc.),Product delivery to electricians
- Communicate and work as a partner with the contractor team
- Manage Backorders
- Complete parts requests through ordering, receiving and shipping (including Werner supplied material, material from other 3rd party distributors)
- Conduct product storage at the jobsite
- Deliver product to specified areas of job site
- Work closely with Werner Customer Service, Purchasing and Operations
- Responsible for returning product to the Regional Distribution Center according to company operating procedures
- Determine and arrange the most efficient delivery method of products supplied by Werner and vendor partners.
- Partner with Werner delivery team to coordinate special deliveries
- Provide customer service and support as main contact between Werner and customer
- Set up and relocate fabrication stations/areas on job site as requested
- Clean, charge and/or fuel lifts and generators as specified
- Assemble lights and other assemblies before installation
- Process and stage wire orders in an efficient and accurate manner
- Clean, maintain and 5S warehouse, office, and break trailers
- Utilize multiple tools including pipe benders, pipe threader, bandsaw, crimpers
- Ability to operate power equipment
- Lull
- Forklift
- Scissors Lift
- Miscellaneous duties within material management Responsibly manage expense associated with travel and working in the field
- Follow all Contractor job site safety requirements and Werner safety requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
