Department: Recovery Services
Summary of Duties: Provides oversight to department teams, outreach initiatives and hospital tracking programs. Conducts assessments, completes ISPs, visits clients to access progress, and serves as a therapist for a Bridge Program caseload of clients. Provide Crisis Intervention and Resolution as required to include non-traditional hours. Provides supervision to interns and facilitates training for staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology or a Related Field
- 2 years Post-Master Experience in Behavioral Health
- Valid AL Driver’s License
- Excellent 5-year Motor Vehicle Record, Reliable Transportation
- Personal Automobile Liability Insurance Minimum of $300,000/$100,000/$50,000 (Mandatory)
- Must attend Adult Supervisory Case Management Training
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Knowledge of Community Agencies and Resources
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide oversight to the daily operation of the Bridge Team, Street Outreach, PATH, and Hospital Tracking programs
- Provide oversight to outreach initiatives: Zero Fee, local missions, Soup Kitchen
- Complete ISPs for Bridge Program, In-home Program, Case Management
- Visit clients in their environment to assess progress towards goals, provide support, and direction
- Primary therapist for Bridge Program for caseload, 20-25 clients
- Provide oversight and management to Recovery Services when Coordinator is absent
- Provide clinical supervision to Interns
- Facilitate trainings to clinical staff
- Provide clinical assessments (intake and after care assessments) and individual therapy
- Provide Crisis Intervention and Resolution as required to include non-traditional hours
- Assist client in establishing and maintaining a social support system/network within the community
- Provide instruction and assistance to clients regarding Basic Living Skills or other needs
- Maintain high quality, timely documentation as required through ADMH & Center Standards
- Facilitate Bridge Team treatment team meetings and case load rundowns
- Promote good communications with Coordinator and throughout department
- Ensure compliance with external administrative and clinical standards of care, applicable laws, including DMH, Medicaid and State/Federal Laws
- Complete timeclock reviews
- Transport clients as necessary
- Complete monthly budgets for clients enrolled on the Bridge Team
- Coordinate with the pharmacy to ensure that clients are current with their pharmacy bills
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Recovery Services Coordinator
