JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for leading the American Republic Insurance Services Sales operation and field administrative teams in seeking new pathways to grow sales and drive profitability. In this role, the Agency Operations Manager will coach, train, and oversee projects with the agency leadership team to grow sales, develop operational efficiency, and improve overall agency operations performance.

  • Creates, develops, and recommends goals, based on Branch P&L, objectives and policies to ensure the most effective operation and staffing of the agency.
  • Creates a high-performing organization, continuously analyzing current business work flows and productivity/efficiency results to implement process improvements.
  • Oversee the planning, design and tactical implementation of various projects and operational initiatives to support the sales functions.
  • Develop and monitor budget for all branches and agency overall. Analyze budget trends and monitor profit and loss statements. Reconciles assumptions to actual performance; presents variances; develops action plans to resolve negative variances.
    • Lead Management – Oversee the lead management process for the agenc. Monitor program efficiencies and ROI tracking.
    • Training – Oversees the design and delivery of sales training and development programs. Ensure programs meet the needs of distribution leaders, agents and market conditions consistent with the long-term goals of the company.
    • Sales Project Management – Leads/oversees distribution project management activities to ensure accurate and timely project delivery and execution. Collaborates with operational project managers to ensure seamless integration and execution.
  • Coaches and provides oversight for sales professionals in utilizing management tools (Agent Vizion Technology) to maximize growth plans.
  • Manage direct reports including overseeing workflow, communicate company goals and policies, provides feedback, foster a positive work environment, and promote employee development.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field. Combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Experience

  • 8+ years of relevant experience. Experience in the insurance industry operations and/or with agency leadership, a plus.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team and managing profit & loss results.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Primarily works in an office environment (or in-home office) performing work that is sedentary which involves remaining stationary and working on a computer for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to review, assess, and/or analyze data and figures by viewing a computer screen, including extensive reading.
  • Regularly communicates with others in-person, via video conferencing, electronically (including email), or by phone to exchange accurate information.
