Required Education and Experience: Satisfactory completion of AMA accredited program. Certified by ARRT. Certified by State of Florida Radiation Control (HRS).

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: CPR Certification.

Essential Functions
Demonstrates competency in the operation of all radiographic equipment assigned to radiology department.

Prepares the patient and work environment for the successful completion of radiographic examination.

Produces diagnostic radiographs according to department standards and protocols and provides pertinent information on x-ray requests.

Performs basic patient care protocols according to department guidelines under the direction of the radiologists. Assist with emergency code situation in accordance with clinic policies.

Demonstrates proper radiation safety procedures.
