Required Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing and hold an active Florida license. CPR certification.
Preferred Education and Experience: One year experience in a health care facility.
Additional Qualifications: Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment.
Summary/Objective: Oversees daily operations to ensure that offices run smoothly.
Essential Functions
Assigns duties to nurses on unit making work assignment decisions based on workload
Handles all disputes on hall and communicates problems/issues to coordinator in timely manner
Balances workload and nurse job duties
Identifies and evaluates patient needs by way of telephone triage
Identifies patient and family education needs and provides instruction
Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate
Adheres to nursing policy and procedures when documenting information in patients medical record
Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician’s office
Requests additional coverage to cover unity workload in a timely manner
