Required Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing. Current Florida RN license. Minimum two years experience in an outpatient setting. BLS certification.
Preferred Education and Experience: Management/supervisory experience.
Summary/Objective: Manages and directs daily operation of assigned staff. Manages services and activities of clinical service/profit centers, Manages performance of staff and promotes high morale, Assists Director in meeting departmental goals/objectives, and promotes and directs a cost-effective operation.
Essential Functions
Plans, organizes and determines daily staffing, space, and equipment needs.
Recruits, interviews, trains, and terminates employees as necessary to keep areas properly staffed.
Coordinates efficient use of staff between and among internal departments.
Maintains the Kronos system.
Supports physician and departmental offices and clinics.
Completes and submits performance evaluations in a timely manner.
Monitors clinical functions of each unit to ensure highest quality care provided.
Ensures all Clinic policies/procedures are understood and closely followed.
Keeps internal department operations running efficiently and smoothly without outside guidance and/or supervision.
Provides direction, discipline and counseling to all staff to ensure high state of morale and overall efficient operation.
Keeps abreast of personnel issues affecting productivity and implements effective action to improve operations.
Works closely with Director to ensure all major projects are accomplished on time.
Keeps open lines of communication with Director enhance departmental unity.
Assists in budget preparation and execution.
Maintains files in support of efficient financial operations.
Investigates accounting areas of concern.
