Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Two years of college preferred or related business training.
Experience: Minimum of five years as an executive assistant in a similar setting.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Ability to type a corrected minimum rate of 45wpm. Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer-based skills in word-processing and spreadsheet (Excel) software. Basic math and analytical skills with the ability to transfer statistical data accurately. Able to work independently with minimum supervision and is able to exercise good judgment and discretion.
Essential Functions
Types and distributes PFS correspondence, memos, reports, etc. for Director, Asst. Director and PFS Managers in an accurate and timely manner.
Gathers data to assist the Director in problem evaluation/resolution and in responding to internal or external inquiries.
Completes the PFS Monthly Financial Report and the Claim Denial Report.
Interfaces with callers, demonstrating a professional and courteous attitude. Determines needs/priorities to meet with or speak to Director and staff, and schedules appointments according to priority. Handles issues, if possible, or directs individual as appropriate.
Gathers pertinent information and resources needed for Director to prepare for meetings. Books all travel arrangements and maintains expense reimbursement logs.
