What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers
• Set performance goals and provide regular coaching and feedback
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams in the business to deliver features on time
• Promote engineering best practices in code quality, architecture, testing, and deployment
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions
• Hire, onboard, and retain top-tier engineering talent
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and team productivity
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
• Manage project timelines, risks, and team capacity in alignment with business goals

What You’ll Bring

Required:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years leading software development teams
• Strong track record of delivering projects in Agile/Scrum environments
• Solid technical background and ability to contribute to design discussions
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools
• Background in SaaS, e-commerce, or high-growth environments
• Understanding of software security, performance, and scalability
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
