Always Compassionate Veterinary Care in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a veterinarian to join our 5-doctor practice. We are a canine and feline AAHA accredited general practice that offers a variety of medical, preventative, and surgical services to our clients. About ACVC:

• We are proud of our great work/life balance - there are no weekends, overnights, or on-call requirements, and we refer to local ER and specialty centers.
• We have a 1:2 technician to doctor ratio and we see 2-3 appointments per hour (15 minutes for wellness and more for sick or puppy visits).
• Mentorship and learning are important to us, which is why we offer up to 5 days of CE PTO and extensive mentorship for our doctors.

Associate Position:

• This is a great opportunity for a new graduate to obtain mentorship from an experienced team of doctors.
• This is also a great opportunity for an experienced doctor to join and share their knowledge with our team.
• Our doctor schedule is flexible and includes no weekends. We would prefer that an incoming doctor is able to work 2 evenings until 8:00pm per week (last appt at 7:30pm).
• Our full-time schedule is M-F with Tuesday being a surgery day (surgery all day with time at the end of the day to do discharges/client communication).
• Surgery is not a requirement of an incoming doctor if they are not interested.
