Northwood Oaks Veterinary Hospital is looking to hire a veterinary technician who will embrace our culture of compassion, community, and education and embodies our mission of helping people and pets. We have a strong team of doctors, techs and receptionists and place an emphasis on mentorship, training, and communication. In our efforts to help everyone reach their vetmed goals, NWO allows team members the unique opportunity to be cross-trained in several different areas of the hospital. Duties for this position range from the front of the hospital to the back: animal handling and restraint, assisting the veterinarian in the exam rooms, assisting with x-rays and surgical procedures, laboratory sample collection as well as check-in and check-out duties.

Previous experience in a veterinary hospital preferred!

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Occasional Saturday availability
