We’re seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced outpatient clinic. This role supports physicians with daily procedures and ensures each patient receives excellent, compassionate care.

Medical Assistant Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures

  • Record vitals, update medical history, and enter data into EMR

  • Assist with in-office procedures and minor surgeries

  • Perform basic podiatric care (nail and callus care, diabetic shoe fittings)

  • Conduct X-rays and handle lab specimens

  • Verify insurance, complete pre-authorizations, and process prescriptions

  • Provide post-op follow-up calls and patient education

  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam rooms

  • Support overall clinic operations while ensuring HIPAA compliance

Medical Assistant Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program OR 1+ years of experience in a similar clinical role

  • CMA or RMA certification preferred

  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Technologically savvy proficient in Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

  • Ability to travel between local offices as needed
