We’re seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced outpatient clinic. This role supports physicians with daily procedures and ensures each patient receives excellent, compassionate care.
Medical Assistant Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures

Record vitals, update medical history, and enter data into EMR

Assist with in-office procedures and minor surgeries

Perform basic podiatric care (nail and callus care, diabetic shoe fittings)

Conduct X-rays and handle lab specimens

Verify insurance, complete pre-authorizations, and process prescriptions

Provide post-op follow-up calls and patient education
-
Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam rooms

Support overall clinic operations while ensuring HIPAA compliance
Medical Assistant Required Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED
-
Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program OR 1+ years of experience in a similar clinical role

CMA or RMA certification preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

Technologically savvy proficient in Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to travel between local offices as needed
