Position Overview:
Reporting to the SVP of Operations, the Director of Operations will lead and oversee multi-site clinical operations, driving both strategic and day-to-day operational excellence. This role will be instrumental in improving operational rigor, implementing best practices, and supporting growth initiatives including organic expansion, acquisitions, and integration of new specialty practices. The Director will foster a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement across all clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations across all functions of the clinics, ensuring operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and financial performance.

  • Build and implement standardized operational processes across clinics to support scalable growth.

  • Establish and maintain performance metrics (KPIs) to monitor operational and financial results.

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to drive same-store revenue growth, margin improvement, and service excellence.

  • Create a culture of continuous improvement and operational accountability.

Strategic Growth & Integration:

  • Support and execute the integration and assimilation of new specialty practices.

  • Drive organic and de novo growth in new and existing markets.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company objectives and SVP directives.

  • Benchmark operational, financial, and clinical best practices across all locations.

Financial & Compliance Management:

  • Oversee operational budgets and ensure optimal allocation of resources.

  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve top-line growth and EBITDA targets.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Mentor and oversee Regional Managers and clinic leaders.

  • Foster strong relationships with providers and staff to support a positive workplace culture and effective teamwork.

  • Serve as a visible leader across clinics, clearly communicating expectations and providing guidance.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a high-growth, multi-site healthcare or clinical operations environment.

  • Proven track record in operational and strategic leadership, including acquisitions, integrations, and practice growth.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience leveraging data to drive results.

  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with ERP systems, operational tools, and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new software quickly.

  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
