Assists the Insurance Credentialing Specialist to ensure all hospital-based providers are credentialed and recertified with applicable payers. Recognizes and supports The Thompson Way.  Lives the CARES values at all times. 

Education:         

Associate's degree or 3 years related work experience in health care billing required.

Experience:

• Experience:

  • Three years of previous medical milling experience, professional billing preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and all web-based payer requirements
  • Working knowledge of 3^rd party payers

Position Pay Range: $17.50- $20.00/hour
