JOIN UR MEDICINE HOME CARE INFUSION TEAM!
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for placing, monitoring, and assessing intravenous systems, medications and/or products. Utilizing physicians’ orders and professional skills, the Home Infusion Therapy Services RN develops and implements a plan that meets each patient’s specific needs and is in compliance with accrediting organization standards, federal and state regulations, reimbursement guidelines, as well as Agency policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs initial assessment and ongoing reassessments for each patient.
- Administers and monitors antineoplastic agents, parenteral nutrition, investigational medications, blood and/or blood components and pain management medications.
- Performs venous and arterial punctures and phlebotomies.
- Assesses patient’s condition, initiates plan of care, re-evaluates and updates as necessary.
- Obtains all necessary physician orders and collaborates with physician as patient’s needs dictate.
- Follows up with obtaining lab results and notifying physician of any significant results.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience as an RN commensurate with one (1) of the following:
- One (1) year acute care experience within the last two (2) years
- One (1) year community health or public health experience within the last two (2) years
- One (1) year home healthcare experience within the last two (2) years
- One (1) year outpatient facility experience within the last two (2) years
- Current certification as CRNI preferred.
- Current BLS CPR certification.
- Knowledgeable in the use of infusion equipment.
- Valid state driver’s license and reliable automobile.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer knowledge.

Salary Range:$86,161 to $93,680
