Description

UW Medicine Primary Care, in conjunction with the Department of Family Medicine, is seeking two Urgent Care ARNPs/PA-C for urgent care practice in Kirkland, WA, East of Seattle.

Teaching Associates hold annual appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30) and may be reappointed to subsequent annual terms. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.  In addition to providing primary care, this role will include some clinical teaching responsibilities. Positions will ideally start Summer/Fall 2024.

The base salary for this position will be $10,988 monthly, commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.  This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.

Other compensation associated with this position may include one-time Monthly Additional Compensation payment and incentive pay based on performance.

Qualifications

Candidates must have earned ARNP or PA-C, and should be board certified.  Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in Urgent Care or Primary Care setting.  Candidates will need to possess or obtain a valid Washington State medical license and DEA cert, ACLS & PALS.
