Responsibilities   

  • Supervises and coordinates daily activities of employees to ensure safe and effective operations. 
  • Greets crew members, flight attendants, and passengers in a friendly and courteous manner. 
  • Drives/safely operates catering equipment and vehicles. Loads and unloads aircraft supplies to and from high lift catering trucks. Uses and works from lift equipment to heights at approximately 40 feet to service aircraft. 
  • Audits and replenishes inventory to ensure an adequate supply of items needed to service aircraft. 
  • Maintains catering log and records by company procedures. 
  • Fuels trucks and performs daily safety checks per safety policies and OSHA regulations. 
  • Maintains the interior and exterior cleanliness of the catering trucks. 
  • Ensures catering areas are always kept organized and clean. 
  • Ships and receives supply orders; restocks inventory daily. 
  • Wash dishes and equipment as required. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position. 

Qualifications 

  • Two+ years of relevant experience.   
  • Must be open-minded and ready to work as part of a detail-oriented team. 
  • You will need to have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. We operate in a shift bid environment. 
  • Enjoy the outdoors daily (sun, rain, sleet, or snow!)  
  • Must be able to lift/carry / push/pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more regularly and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces. 
  • Must be a local (in-state) resident. 
  • Valid In-State Driver’s License. 
  • High School diploma or GED. 
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. 
  • Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check. 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • Must have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. 
  • Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
