The Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Division at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board certified pulmonary and critical care physician at the Tenured Full Professor rank.
Position Highlights:
This position will to support the goal of building a nationally-recognized research division in focused areas of research, i.e. pulmonology, acute respiratory distress syndrome, pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, emphysema, lung cancer, etc.
Faculty hires will participate in translational research, as well as provide a level of direct patient care via participation on both inpatient and outpatient services (20%).
Recruits may be at the Associate or Professor level. It is anticipated that recruits will either apply for extramural funding by year two, or have established funding if hired at the higher ranks.
Required Qualifications:
The candidate must have a MD degree or MD/Ph.D. and have or be eligible for a Minnesota Medical License, and be board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care.
The successful candidate will have a strong record of clinical and translational research, as well as a record of funding and publications.
