The Anesthesia Manager is an advanced practice role with accountability for the management/leadership of people, finances, and business operations at the MHealth Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center. As a working manager, assures that customers are the focus of all business activities, with employee engagement and interdepartmental collaboration as core principles. Uses advanced knowledge, skills and abilities to establish an environment of collaborative, integrated, quality and patient focused care delivery for surgical and procedural patients. Participates with organizational and departmental leadership to develop, implement and evaluate strategic and operational plans that are aligned with organizational strategies and initiatives.

- The M Health Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center is an award-winning, state-of-the-art ASC - the largest in the state.
- We offer a strong family and team environment where you will be leading a team of 20 regular CRNAs and a small pool of casuals.
- We staff 12 rooms per day under a Directed Care model alongside 3 anesthesiologist colleagues.
- With many medical specialties located within the CSC, our CRNA’s see a wide variety of cases.

In this role, you will:
- Manage overall anesthesia operations in accordance with policies, standards, regulations and budget
- Recruit and hire CRNAs to create a diverse and complimentary team
- Plan, direct, coordinate, implement, delegate and evaluate anesthesia care of surgical and procedural patients
- Work with other department leaders in developing strategic plans, quality improvement initiatives and growth strategies
- In collaboration with the Anesthesiologist, provide anesthesia care to a variety of patients, pediatrics and adult
- Involve patients, families and other health team members appropriately
- Partner with other health team members to provide excellent clinical outcomes
- Demonstrates the ability to advance evidence based practice by utilizing standards, guidelines and pathways for care delivery
Qualifications:
- Current Licensure as a CRNA in state of MN.
- 3-5 years of CRNA experience. Successful experience with establishing an environment of collaborative patient-centered care for surgical patients.
- 2-3 years leadership experience.
- Ability to effectively use technology.
- ACLS and PALS certification. Knowledge of physiology, pharmacology and equipment related to the practice of anesthesia.
- Good evaluation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with and integrated interests of various disciplines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and patients.
- Critical thinking skills
What Could Set You Apart?
- 1-3 years of CRNA experience working with outpatient surgery patients
- 3-5 years previous Anesthesia Management experience
