Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and improves workflow processes for participants, recruitment and enrollment, computer telephone assisted interviews, quality and data entry, and data cleaning activities. Each of these tasks must be reviewed throughout the study with the need to respond promptly to unexpected problems.
- Revise and update manuals of procedures.
- Develops curricula and conducts training for study staff based on protocol as it relates to medical terminology and medical conditions including, but not limited to, autoimmune disorders.
- Deliver training that includes medical terminology, description, and correct pronunciation.
- Provide clinical /medical guidance to study staff, this requires expert guidance on developing informational resources for study staff for FAQs from participants.
- Organize and perform Initial Quality Assurance/Control on recruitment and interview calls and submit results to PI and PC
- Ensures recruiters and interviewers use procedures and strategies as outlined.
- Answers participants' questions about medical conditions and definitions.
Qualifications
Who We're Looking For
- Public health professionals with nursing background or experience in a hospital setting.
- People with knowledge and research of maternal and child health, including developmental disabilities. Sensitivity to families, children, and their information is an absolute must! Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail reflect this.
- Master's or Doctoral degree plus minimum of five (5) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.Prior clinical or hospital experience.
- Research experience with child developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Large data collection activities experience - including participant interviews and record abstraction.
